Rihanna, known for her controversial outfit choices, stunned in a toned down look at the MTV Video Music Awards. The 24-year-old wore a simplistic backless white gown whose sole detail was a knot at the front and the back.
Sporting a new pixie haircut, the 'We Found Love' singer looked very much like American actress Halle Berry. The new hairdo is a massive change from the styles we have seen Rihanna sport lately and a welcomed change at that. The short crop makes the star look fresh and radiant, and unlike previous hair styles it does not distract from her striking and beautiful facial features.
Rihanna didn't completely stray from her usual style however. The singer added a slick of red lipstick which is in keeping with her usual vampish look. She also accessorised with a selection of rings and a quirky Minx manicure which bore dollar notes and pound notes.
